Volunteer Center Overview
To access the Volunteer Center, from the Registrations Dashboard click on "Volunteer Center" from the Actions droplist at the top of the page.
NOTE: If the Volunteer Center does not appear as an option in the Actions droplist, please contact your provider Administrator. Access to the Volunteer Center requires that your account have a role of Administrator or Background Check.
Compliance
The "Compliance" tab on the Volunteer Center displays a summary of the total number of volunteers in the volunteer pool, selected volunteers, Background Check Compliance, and Concussion Certification Compliance for each of the Registration Periods.
By default the compliance figures are calculated based on the selected volunteers, not the total number of volunteers in the pool. So if a registration period has 10 volunteer opportunities of which 10 volunteers have been selected but only 5 of which have a valid background check on file and 6 of which have a valid concussion certification on file the background check compliance would be 50% and the concussion certification would be 60%.
Check the "Show All Volunteers (includes non-selected volunteers)" check box to calculate the compliance numbers based on the total number of volunteers in the volunteer pool not just selected.
If no rows appear in the the Volunteer Compliance table of on the Compliance tab then no volunteer opportunities have been defined for any of your registration periods. See Adding Volunteer Opportunities and Positions for more information.

The date displayed when clicking on the status link defaults to the current date. See Managing Volunteer Background Checks and Concussion Certifications for more information.

The Background Check and Concussion Certification policies are displayed when members sign up for volunteer opportunities that require either a background check or concussion certification.
